Movie Making
Overview
We are excited to partner with Incrediflix to offer a movie-making camp for elementary and middle schoolers! Production fees are included with each registration. The final product will be emailed within a month after camp ends. Check out www. IncrediFlix.com for examples of each program.
Special Effects Movie Flix
Explosions, tornados, meteors! In these high-intensity live-action movies, the special effects will blow your mind. In groups, you’ll get to direct, act, and even choose special effects to incorporate into your movies. Make a movie that will surprise your friends and family!
Minecraft vs Roblox Flix
Make a Minecraft MOVIE, a Roblox MOVIE, or make a mashup MOVIE! Work in groups to create a stop-motion movie full of games or challenges for your character to overcome. Students will create their sets out of construction paper, make their Minecraft blocks, film, add some cool effects, and do voice-overs!
Special Effects Movie Flix + Minecraft/Roblox Flix WHOLE DAY
If you choose both camps for a whole day of film making, the fee includes a discount and includes lunch supervision. Please bring a snack, lunch, and drink.
About Us
The Old Greenwich – Riverside Community Center (OGRCC) offers one of the most comprehensive community youth and adult recreational, athletic, educational and social programs. Our offerings range from art, baseball, cooking, basketball, dance, field hockey, film, rugby, soccer, and tennis. We also offer camps and special clinics by season. What separates us is our level of dedication to our programs, our professional and volunteer coaches, community events, and the ability to offer recreational and some of the most competitive travel all-star teams.
