Overview

NEW! Intro to Acting

This fun and energetic course will serve as an introduction to acting for any student who would like to build their self-confidence on the stage. Featured in each class will be elements of acting and performance skills, character development, improv. technique as well as offering coaching on blocking and projection. The course will also provide instruction for each student to write, direct, and act in his or her original one-minute play.  On the last day of class, an invited audience will be treated to a sample of each of our students performing on stage. Limited seating.

Alexander Constantine is an educator, accomplished musician, and choral director.  He currently serves as the Director of Music for Second Congregational Church in Greenwich and has held teaching roles in choral, music, and theatre programs since the age of 15.  Most recently, he taught Chorus, Introduction to Theatre, and directed the Middle School musicals at Brunswick School.  He also directs “Dadrigals” a vocal group consisting of Sacred Heart fathers.  In 2016, he created a solo Christmas album to benefit the children of St. Jude’s Hospital.  Previously, he performed all over the country with musicians and as a soloist.  He worked for Walt Disney World performing in shows, solo events, and writing music for the Disney Mainstreet Parades.  In addition, he worked as the show keyboardist for Disney’s Pleasure Island Improv Club, “Comedy Warehouse” and “Adventurers Club.”
