Dear OGRCC Members,
We want to inform you that after years of dedicated service as the OGRCC Baseball Director for Greenwich Cal Ripken Baseball, Jeff Mini will be stepping down from his position. Jeff’s passion and commitment have played a vital role in the growth and success of our Cal Ripken baseball program, both in terms of participation and quality.
As Jeff steps down from his role, we would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to him. His passion for baseball has been a driving force behind the program’s success. We are grateful for his dedication to making our baseball program one of the best in the region.
With the program progressing and aiming to take things to the next level, we will make some changes. We are excited to announce that we are restructuring our baseball program and combining all Recreational, Cal Ripken, and Thunder Baseball under one umbrella to foster more cohesion and interconnectedness. This move will also help us provide better resources and support to our players, coaches, and families.
As part of this restructuring, we are also seeking a new Director of Baseball to lead this new umbrella and take our program to greater heights. This position remains open, and we welcome applications from individuals who are passionate about baseball, have experience leading programs, and have a proven track record of success.
We are confident that these changes will help our baseball program evolve in line with the times and meet the evolving needs of our community. Thank you for your continued support and engagement as we take this new direction.
