OGRCC (Old Greenwich – Riverside Community Center) proudly announces that four Thunder Baseball teams made it to the championship this summer through the Greater Hudson Baseball League. Congratulations are in order for the 9U-Red and 12U-Blue teams, the champions, and our 9U-Blue and 11U-Blue teams, the runners-up! 
The OGRCC Thunder Baseball program is an elementary and middle school level program providing intensive skill development that goes well beyond recreational programs. All age groups benefit from professionally run clinics throughout the program and, at times, professional head coaches. The program is designed for seasoned, motivated players willing to commit time and energy to learn and improve their baseball skills, sportsmanship, and team dynamics, all while enjoying the game of baseball.
This season was no exception in terms of success, as 120 kids participated across ten different teams. It is primarily a Summer baseball program, with Spring practices and pre-season games or tournaments. The success of these teams shows just how much potential there is in the OGRCC Thunder Baseball Program.
“We are so proud of all our Thunder baseball teams this season,” said OGRCC Executive Director Jen Ludington. “It really speaks to their hard work and dedication that four teams made it to the championship.”
